  • Whether you are just beginning your woodcarving journey or are a seasoned pro you will find that this class is more of a community of carvers helping everyone to find their passions. 

    Materials: Those of you new to carving do not need to bring anything to the first few classes, the instructor has materials and tools for you to use. As the class gets into full swing you may need to purchase tools and/or wood. The instructor has a number of wood samples for sale.

    • How to choose appropriate wood for your project. 

    • How to use a variety of tools and then choose which tools suit your carving project best. 

    • How to create and execute your design. 

    • What the different carving techniques are and how to do them. 

    • Scheduled opportunities for social interactions in our community.
